Pinnakatte paksuse (QP) 50x50m võrkmudeli aluseks on erinevate uuringupunktide (puuraugud, - kaevud, paljandid ja vaatluspunktid) info. Mudelit täiendati 1:50 000 geoloogilise baaskaardi andmetega (QP isojooned mattunud orgude piires) ning georadari profiilidel interpreteeritud QP andmetega. NB! Tulenevalt uuringupunktide varieeruvast tihedusest võib tegelik pinnakatte paksus interpolatsiooni teel saadud QP mudelist oluliselt erineda. QP mudelit uuendatakse igakuiselt.

The Quaternary thickness (QP) 50x50m grid model is based on the information from various survey points (boreholes, water boreholes, outcrops, and observation points). The model was supplemented with the data from the 1:50 000 Geological Base Map (QP isolines within the buried valleys), and the interpreted QP data from the ground-penetrating radar profiles. NB! Due to the variable density of the survey points, the actual Quaternary thickness may significantly differ from the interpolated QP model. The QP model gets a monthly update.
