Kaardikihtide kataloog

Kiht sisaldab kõiki teadaolevaid täielikult või osaliselt sootaimkonnaga (Paal 1997: 3. taimkond) kaetud alasid Eestis. Kaardikiht on valminud Euroopa Majanduspiirkonna finantsmehhanismi ja Norra finantsmehhanismi poolt rahastatud projekti EE0045 "Estonian Mires Inventory for maintaining biodiversity" raames. The layer contains all known areas in Estonia that are fully or partially covered by peatland vegetation (Taimkond 3 according to Paal 1997). The map layer was created as part of the project EE0045 "Estonian Mires Inventory for maintaining biodiversity," funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism. The data layer was compiled by the Estonian Fund for Nature (Eestimaa Looduse Fond - ELF), and it is maintained by the Estonian Nature Information System (Eesti Looduse Infosüsteem - EELIS).
