Overview of Organic Land web map
Organic farming, or ecological farming, is an environmentally friendly production method based on a balanced nutrient cycle. The rules of organic farming apply to crop and livestock farming as well as processing, catering and marketing.
The organic area map provides an overview of recognised organic production land, registered and potential harvesting areas and organic beehives. The map application displays organic farming land and organic product harvesting areas registered with the Agricultural and Food Board, potential harvesting areas (RMK areas that have been notified that fertilizers and plant protection products prohibited in organic farming have not been used in these areas in the previous three years and will not be used this year either) and organic beehives.
More information about organic production can be found on the website of the Agricultural and Food Board and the Organic Estonia website.
The web map has been developed in cooperation with Organic Estonia, the Agricultural and Food Board and the Land and Spatial Development Board.
The data on the organic map was updated in April 2024, the data reflects the status of organic areas in 2023.
