Overview of Aviation web map
The Land and Spatial Development Board, in cooperation with the Transport Administration, has prepared a web map through which spatial data managed by the Transport Administration is available. The data is divided into two main groups: airports, airport restriction areas.
The airport layer displays the locations of airports.
The restriction areas layer displays the restriction areas in the vicinity of airports, which ensure the safe organization of flight operations of arriving and departing aircraft. The restriction areas raster map helps to find the height between the ground and the restriction area, based on which, for example, information can be obtained on how high a building or structure can be planned for a given location (depending on the location, the height of the permitted building may also depend on the airport's approach procedures, which are not displayed in the web map).
The airspace layer displays layers specific to the visual flight map (VFR map), such as approach areas and restriction areas.
