Download Geological Base Map Data
From this page the whole Geological Base Map distribution database be downloaded in several GIS formats. Individually, survey points (the same data has been added to the larger database), grid models with the 50 m grid size (interpolated mainly with the survey points), geophysical shaded maps, and cross-sections created between the survey points can be downloaded.

Recommendations
1. ESRI gdb and shp data are supplemented with an ArcGIS style file. For representing the features accordingly to the
- Stratigraphic nomenclature of the subsurface ( 497.1 KB, 26.05.2020 )
- other features of the Geological Base Map ( 1.2 MB, 1.06.2020 )
map layers can be matched in ArcGIS environment according to the code (Kood) field.
2. As single layers, shown in the web browser map window, data is also downloadable in the Web Map of 1:50 000 Geological Base Map (in several tabular and vector formats (see also the Guide of the Web Map (in Estonian, chapter 5).

NB! These grid models have been interpolated. Due to the variable density of the survey points, the actual subsurface may differ considerably from the grid models.
