Drill-cores
Thousands of meters of drill-cores are stored at four different
locations (see Figures 2-6) by the Geological Survey of Estonia (GSE).
The cores are kept in wooden boxes that host 4 to 8 meters of core
depending on the diameter. Every year about 1000 boxes are checked for
their condition (meaning re-labelling, fixing, and photographing).
