Geological Data Application

Geological Data Application consists of two parts:

First displays the completed thematic maps of the Geological Base Map.
As of June 1, 2017 geological features from 31 Base Map sheets (Pakri, Paldiski, Rohuneeme, Tallinn, Prangli, Maardu, Loksa, Kehra, Võsu, Kadrina, Rakvere, Karepa, Kiviõli, Kohtla-Järve, Sillamäe, Narva, Keila, Kohila, Vaida, Aegviidu, Tapa, Väike-Maarja, Järva-Jaani, Tartu completely; Paide, Rapla, Võru, Räpina, Petseri, Laura and Misso partially) are shown (at the scale of 1:50 000). Bedrock, Quaternary, geomorphological and mineral resources' data collected from the bottom of the Finnish Gulf during the SedGOF project is also available (at the scale of 1:200 000). By the end of 2017 information will be added for Paide, Rapla, Järvakandi and Pärnu-Jaagupi sheets.

All features of the Geological Base Map are regulated by the mapping guide (Table 3, names dubbed in English)

Maps of bedrock and crystalline basement at the scale of 1:400 000 cover the whole country.
